Scholarships

The Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and to promote awareness of Plano’s heritage resources. Our organization offers scholarship money for students who are graduating from an accredited high school within the Plano city limits and whose college majors include the disciplines of Historic Preservation, Architecture, Urban Planning, History, Archaeology, Anthropology or Engineering.

Two scholarship opportunities of $5,000.00 each are available for 2013. The submission deadline is April 18, 2013. All applications should be mailed to the address below and be postmarked by the April 18th deadline:

Norwood M. Brenneke Scholarship: The Norwood M. Brenneke Scholarship was named in honor of Mr. Brenneke who was a founding board member and first treasurer of The Plano Conservancy.
