Hey kids! Welcome to Kid's Corner!

Hello friends! My name is Eugene (say "you-jean"), and I am a mouse....see my picture over there on the left? I live in the Plano Interurban Railway Museum (or as I like to call it - "Mouseum"...get it?) I am a MotorMouse, and I help take care of the Mouseum. I also love to learn about science and history and to discover fun facts about the area where we live!

The Mouseum where I live is more than 100 years old! I like to explore the building and train car late at night, after everyone's gone for the day. I also make sure everything stays in tip top shape for your next visit!

When you visit, take a look around the Mouseum . You may see some of my mouse holes where I peek at you and other museum visitors from behind-the-scenes. I'm watching you learn about area history, and discover science concepts and other neat information right here in our Mouseum in Plano. I can't wait to share all kinds of adventures with you!  Until next time....Eugene

Whether your at Plano's Interurban Railway Museum or out and about in Plano, learning about history is great fun! When you're not learning at our museum or other historic areas of Plano, come to this page to find exciting, fun activities that you can do at home!

Have a grownup help you download and print our Kid's Corner downloads (you'll see them over there on the left!), including a coloring page of Rail Car #360, a word search, our "super sleuth" cemetery scavenger hunt, and more!

And don't forget, we have children's story time every Friday at Plano's Interurban Railway Museum at 10:30. Be sure to come to meet Ms. Genie and her sidekick Rags, as they take you on a magical adventure through books, stories, songs and other kids of fun!
