When visiting Plano's historic sites, please observe any property boundaries and visit only during daylight hours. Close and lock any gates and do not remove any plants, artifacts or decorations. Markers are often in delicate condition and are easily damaged. Gravestones are beautiful works of art, but taking rubbings can erode inscriptions. Instead, take photographs and do no harm. Wayside signs at historic cemeteries in Plano were provided by The Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation, Inc., a 501(c)3
non-profit corporation. The historic details of each site are explored in the photographs, text, and images displayed on the panels.
