Collecting Oral History

Collecting interviews focused on Plano's developing years (1940 - 2000) and memories of the Interurban system. Volunteers are welcome to help gather these important events.

An invaluable part of history is passed down through stories. The pioneer communities within Plano are not well documented in our history books; consequently, the history of this wonderful community will be lost unless family stories are preserved. We need friends who would be interested in conducting oral interviews and providing transcriptions. Video recording skills would be of great help in recording those residents with vivid memories of the early years.
